Representing the best fruit from our 335 acres of estate vineyards, this special cuvee is only produced in select vintage years. The 2005 is a blend of Pinot Noir (53%) and Chardonnay (47%) giving it floral notes with Asian pear and honeyed apple. It has a lush mouthfeel with some mineral character and a hint of brioche leading into a long, crisp finish.
This special cuvee is seafood's best friend. The delicate citrus flavors pair perfectly with raw oysters, roasted mussels, spicy curry and sashimi. Also pairs well with young, ripe triple cream and robust blue cheeses as well as Dungeness crab, lobster or caviar.

"A rich and decadent style, with bold aromas of Asian pear and warm brioche that open to crisp yet luscious and succulent flavors of baked apple, lemon custard and spice. Drink now." —TF, Wine Spectator
